It was a quiet weekend here in Beijing. Alpha and I ate out a couple of times at local restaurants and I hit the gym. I can really feel it today and my knee hurts (arrgh! those first twinges of old age!) Tonight my program consists of a bath and an early night.

Completely off topic but saw your post on the food blog...green peppercorns, or at least mixed peppercorns for your steak at Jenny Lou's. Got some the other day as making that dish tonight.

How did it go? I thought for peppercorn sauce you needed fresh ones but I'm very happy to be corrected.
